- NOUN: 40 Ton Crane Overhaul WAC A1. QTY: 22; U/I: Each; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 46.5 ft Long, 12 ft Wide, 13 ft High, Weight (GVWR) is 94,500 lbs. TYPE CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price; PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 1 Base year and 1 Option year from date of award; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Contractor shall refurbish the RT875CC 40 Ton Container Crane, NSN: 3810-01-205-2716. The selected contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, repair parts, supervision and other items and services to inspect and bring the RT875CC 40 Ton Container Crane to 10/20 standards plus Delayed Desert Damage (3D) IAW the Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Manual (TM) requirements (e.g. torque and common hardware specifics). Cranes must be loaded on a trailer completely, not towed or dragged. Heavy and Wide Load permits may be required for delivery vehicles. Contractor will be required to pick up from and deliver assets to Red River Army Depot. The solicitation will be posted on the TACOM-Red River Procurement network website. This requirement is a Small Business Set Aside and will be awarded on a restricted basis. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 10 Aug 09. Anticipated Award Date: 24 Aug 09. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. The government does not own the drawings for this item to qualify sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). All qualified and responsible sources are encouraged to submit bids.
