- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with DE Technologies Inc., King of Prussia, PA for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement of twenty four (24) Main Landing Gear (MLG) Rigging Tool Sets (P/N 3867A5100-1) to support the F/A-18 Aircraft program. These tools are used to perform rigging of the F/A-18 A/B/C/D MLG planing system. The tool set consist of the following details: planing arm torque adapter (P/N 137321-1) and planing link measuring fixture (P/N 135136-1001). The Government intends to procure the MLG Rigging Tool Sets under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
