- This amendment provides the following DRAFT requirements documents to industry for comment: 1. Instrumented Ranges / Digital Range Training Systems (IR/DRTS) Statement of Work; 2. IR/DRTS Functional and Performance Specification; 3. Video System Suite (VSS) Functional and Performance and Requirements; 4. VSS Detailed Requirements; 5. Dismounted Player Unit (DMT) Functional and Performance and Requirements; 6. Integrated Player Unit (IPU) Functional And Performance Specification. Also attached is a Documentation Question Form to be utilized by industry to request answers to questions or clarification of specific areas of the requirements. Please utilize one form per query, and transmit, via email to the Contract Specialist, caron.rigali@us.army.mil, and the Project Director, at randi.kahl@us.army.mil no later than 19 August 2009. In addition to the above industry feedback, the PEO STRI IR/DRTS acquisition team would like to invite contractors for one-on-one meetings in order to improve the Request For Proposal (RFP) and the proposal process in general. It is anticipated that these meetings will be beneficial to the RFP process, and will not contain marketing presentation, nor be a question answer session. The main goals of the meeting are as follows: 1. Discuss ideas for the SOW and other requirements documents, and RFP in general, to allow for a better proposal; 2. Identify specific requirement omissions from the SOW and other requirements documents that would better articulate and define IR/DRTS in concept and detail; 3. Identify potential issues in the Draft SOW and other requirements documents that may unnecessarily constrain contractors' latitude in approach to the IR/DRTS requirements. The IR/DRTS team anticipates that these meetings will not exceed 1 hours in length at our facility, and will be held 24 through 26 August 2009.
