- A sole source procurement is contemplated with Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network, Inc. (MAGNET), 1768 East 25th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114. This will be the final R&D action on an existing contract with MAGNET for the National Automotive Centers Standardized Exchange of Product (N-STEP) manufacturing technology program. The requirement is for the development of a friction welding test bed. MAGNET, Inc. is uniquely capable to meet TARDEC's research requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner due to its accumulation of expertise in efficiently demonstrating and implementing the N-STEP technology. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
