- Contractors to supply all labor, equipment, material and supervision for the following tasks and incidental related work located at building 949, Fort Detrick, MD: a. Demolish old fire alarm system in building 949, to include fire alarm panel, detectors, initiating devices, notification devices, and wiring. b. Install new Government Furnished fire alarm panel outside of main office across from girls restroom. c. Install new addressable initiation devices. d. Install new addressable notification devices. e. Install new amber color mass notification strobes. f. Install new fire alarm cable throughout building in existing conduit when possible. g. Test and commission new fire alarms system The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a total small business set-aside. All requests for the solicitation package must be made in writing to chasen.deener@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. Contractors must be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration. Davis Bacon Wage Determinations apply. Solicitation package to be released tentatively o/a 18 Aug; site visit o/a 27 Aug; technical questions due o/a 02 Sept; bid opening o/a 18 Sept. Please thoroughly review the solicitation package for firm dates.
