Weber Wiesbaden Contracting Center Tel.: 0611-816-2235 Fax: 0611-816-2254 E-mail: RACHELLE.WEBER@EUR.ARMY.MIL Place of Deliver: Germany Synopsis number: W912CM-09-T-0255 The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to issue a competitive solicitation for a vacuum packing machine model CFS Power PAK RT 560 within the next 15-30 days for the Defence Commissary Agency (DeCA) Central Meat Processing Plant, located at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This requirement is considered a commercial item as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 2.101-Definitions. Subsequently, the evaluation process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. The proposed award shall be a firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order. Note this requirement is subject to FAR Subpart 25.4 -- Trade Agreements. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 423830. Solicitation and any subsequent mendments will be posted through the electronic posting system https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested Offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration in order to be considered for award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the internet at (http://www.ccr.gov/) telephone 1-888-227-2423. Offerors must also have registered Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov before submitting an offer.
