- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, CA, anticipates issuing a solicitation on a full and open competition basis for an engineering and development effort to produce a dual channel target return emulator (DC-TRE). The DC-TRE will be used to capture and radiate signals over the air in the field or through cables in a lab environment. The effort involves the design, development, fabrication, test and delivery of a DC-TRE that meets the requirements stated in the solicitation's specification. Preliminary and critical design reviews are part of the overall effort. On-site technical support will be required for approximately a three month period after final DC-TRE acceptance. A one year warranty is required on all parts and labor from date of final acceptance. FAR 15 procedures will be utilized. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The desired award date is no later than 30 November 2009. The solicitation is anticipated to be released on/about 19 August 2009 with proposals due on/about 23 September 2009. These dates are subject to change. See note 26.
