- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested for the required items and no written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation number W911S7-09-T-0329 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-3 19 July 2009. This is a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS 424690 with a size standard of 500 employees. Ft. Leonard Wood MO requires the following items: Line Item #0001: Chlorine Emergency Training Kit A 1 each; Chlorine Emergency Training Kit B 1 each; Chlorine Emergency Training Kit C ; Universal Hazmat Patch & Plug kit A&E w/non sparking tools 1 each; Chlorine Training Cylinder, full size 150 lb., empty DOT 3AA80, capable of simulating leaks at the valve and in the sidewall, has attachments for garden hose, drain plug and one-way safety valve to prevent accidental filling 1 each; Chlorine Training 1 Ton Container on wheels 1 each; Chlorine Training Rail Car Dome, capable of simulating chlorine leaks on rail cars and the application of Emergency Kit C, valve manifold allows the simulation of a chlorine leak with water or compressed air, on wheels or casters 1 each. All items must provide realistic training for first responders in the containment of chlorine leaks and the use of Chlorine Emergency Kits A,B and C.
