- Subject: 2009 Colorado Forest Health Assessment Multispectral Imagery Acquisition The United States Department of Interior (DOI), Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for commercially available multi-spectral satellite remote sensing data to assess the conifer forest health throughout the state of Colorado for the USGS Rocky Mountain Geographic Science Center (RMGSC), Denver, Colorado. The data collection period is from July 15, 2009 through September 30, 2009. If specific areas, due to cloud cover, cannot be collected, the vendor will collect uncovered areas from July 15, 2010 through September 30, 2010. Upon request, a shape file can be provided to illustrate the geographic extent of the acquisition area. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) data listed in the contractor's standard commercial catalog and a license to use that data. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Denver, CO. It is anticipated that the RFQ (09CRQQ0267) will be available on or before August 10, 2009 at the following web address: http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. An original plus two (2) written copies of the quotation will be requested. No Electronic Commerce (EC) quotes/proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541360. The Government intends on issuing a full-and-open unrestricted solicitation.
