- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitations. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Further, offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. This solicitation is a request for quotations. The NOAA Air Resources Laboratory wishes to acquire one (1) Snap Server 620, 4TB SATA for data storage, Manufacturer P/N 5325302238; one (1) Expansion Card HBA, SAS, 520/600/4500/18000 for the Snap Server, Manufacturer P/N 2219500; two (2) 12-Bay Rack/Drive Array Snap Expansion S50 Single JBOD, Manufacturer P/N 5325302228; and six (6) 1TB Hard Drives S50/500 1 TB 7.2K SATA 4PK, Manufacture P/N 5325302207. This requirement is for Overland equipment. Overland equipment is required to provide an operationally accredited capability for the secure storage of data. Soliciation NRMAC100-09-21263SDC is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is Exempt form Section 508 standards based on 36 CFR 1194.3(f) General Exceptions. All firms responding must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). DUNS number to be included on quotation. NAICS code is 334111, small business size standard is 500 employees, applies to the procurement. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212.3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, must be submitted with your offer. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions-Commercial Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. If offering an equal product, provide sufficient technical/descriptive product literature for technical evaluation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive offeror who can meet specific requirements and is most advantageous to the Government considering price and other price related factors as well as delivery requirements. Telephone requests will not be honored. Delivery to be F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Air Resources Laboratory, 1315 East West Highway, SSMC3 Room 3151, Silver Spring, MD, 20910. Delivery to be 30 days from date of award.
