- Register now to attend a Pre-Release Conference and Webinar on: Developing and Managing Road Environment GIS for SHRP 2 Naturalistic Driving Study Learn about the objectives and requirements in a pre-release Conference and Webinar on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, 1:00 pm-3:30 pm EDT SHRP 2 Safety Project S04-A: Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer/Manager for SHRP 2 Roadway Information Database Budget and Project Duration: TBD Project Manager: Charles Fay, Senior Program Officer In August 2009, the Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP 2) of the Transportation Research Board will release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Project S04-A. The primary goal of the project is to produce an interoperable, scalable GIS. SHRP 2 will host a pre-bid RFP conference to give more information about the project and to provide an opportunity for potential proposers to have questions answered.
