- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Cincinnati, Ohio, Division of Applied Research & Technology (DART), hereby announces its intent to issue a purchase order to Entech Instruments, Inc. for: 1 01-7500A 7500 Autosampler (USB Bundle) Canister/LVH Autosampler (USB Version) for Auto-Injection of MiniCans/LVSH Bottles, 1 01-7500-T100 100 Position Tray for 7500, 1 01-40-HDS01 HDS Standards Prep Kit, 3 01-39-37480 8 Hours HDS Monitor 4Pk + BFB, 2 01-39-37015 15min HDS Monitor 4Pk + BFB, 1 01-40-02005 Ultra Clean Regulator/CGA850, 1 01-10-20030 2-Stage Diaphragm/vacuubrand pump 120V/60Hz, 1 01-31-BV-Prep1 BV Single Bottle Prep Station, 1 01-10-20030 2-Stage Diaphragm/vacuubrand pump 120V/60Hz, 1 01-09-75060A 6-Pos Vial Oven w/Agitator, 1 01-00-08-00000 7101AR Swap for 7150; including shipping and installation. Current and proposed Future Projects require an upgrade and incorporation with the existing Entech Air Sampling Equipment (air sample concentrator and air canister cleaning oven) which utilize the novel helium diffusion sampler. This project is supported by justification for other than full and open competition to Entech Instruments Inc., under authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1). Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified and can supply all of the designated equipment above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written item description/item characteristics and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward the item description and pricing information to James Ambrozic, Purchasing Agent, Reference: 00HCCMBE-2009-70503, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Acquisition and Assistance Field Branch (Pittsburgh), PO Box 18070, Cochrans Mill Road, Pittsburgh. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a federal contract. The website is: www.ccr.gov. The Government will review any/all item descriptions and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with Entech Instruments Inc. 2207 Agate Court, Simi Valley, CA 93065 as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
