- This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4608-09-Q-0142, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and is in accordance with provisions and clauses effective in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-23 effective 26 Dec 2007). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 334515, and the business size is 500 Employees. The proposed acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. Small businesses, woman-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to participate by submitting quotes. Please see the attached RFQ for further details. The commodity being procured is: A Brand Name: Diesel Tech 7 0001 - (1) International hydraulic ABS software. 0002 - (1) Meritor Wabco ABS Software V7.0. 0003 - (1) BENDIX ACom 5.9 TM diagnostics software for ABS. 0004 - (1) Caterpillar Diagnostic Electronics Technician ET. 0005 - (1) ISIS Master service manual. 0006 - (1) Navistar Servicemaxx international diagnostic software-all models until 2009. 0007 - (1) detroit Diesel diagnostic link 6.4 / 7.0 DDEC VI controls software combo. 0008 - (1) Allison DOCTM for pc-service tool v7.5.0 (Allison DOC 7.0). 0009 - (1) Int'l DBL software (above 2001 vehicles cab electronics). 0010 - (1) Int'l IPC (prior 2001 vehicles clusters). 0011 - (1) Panasonic C-F 30 laptop. 0012 - (1) USB-Link interface or COM adaptor by Nexiq. 0013 - (1) 9-Pin Caterpillar Deutsch. 0014-(1) 8-Pin AMP connector. 0015-(1) Cable J560 PLC (set). 0016-(1) J1962 for GMC truck with Cat engines. 0017-(1) Power and data cable. 0018-(1) Pro- link 401013 Cummins 2-pin adapter cable. 0019-(1) Diesel Tech one (1) year subscription. 0020-(1) JPRO Heavy duty fleet service software bundle. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following addenda applies. Offerors shall submit their quote on letterhead stationery, provide unit prices with a grand total, and the contractor must remit a completed copy of the REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS at FAR 52.212-3, and follow the instruction as provided in the clause. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ACCEPT INCOMPLETE PROPOSALS. Offers will be evaluated on the prices as offered. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. If an offer cannot comply with every requirement, that offer will not be technically acceptable, and therefore will not be considered. Once an offer has been determined to be technically acceptable, and in compliance with all directions in this solicitation, the Government will award to the offeror with the lowest evaluated price. Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and the 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications with its offer.
