- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Division Newport, RI intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price type contract for (4 ea) High Density Connector and Cable Assemblies. This acquisition is anticipated to be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334417, size standard is 500 employees. In accordance with FAR 5.203(b) & (h), the anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-09-Q-4960 is on or about 05 August 2009 with a closing on or about 12 August 2009. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation, evaluation shall be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. Required delivery is by 30 December 2009, FOB:Dest Newport, RI. Proposed contract to be awarded using FAR Part 13.5.
