- The Environmental Protection Agency at Research Triangle Park (EPA-RTP) has a requirement for a 14 Ft. x 32 Ft. prefabricated metal building, brand name or equal to the Leonard Cambridge Model Number B-CAMB-NNNN. The building will be used to store equipment for the Ambient Air Innovation and Research Site located on the EPA-RTP campus. This building must be delivered fully constructed and installed on our site with durable and waterproof flooring within 30 days of award. Full specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation number is PR-NC-09-10217 and will be issued on or about August 7, 2009 as a request for quotation (RFQ) with an anticipated award date of September 7, 2009. This requirement will be awarded on a competitive basis, using simplified acquisition procedures. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and is set aside 100% for small business. The anticipated NAICS code is 332311 with a size standard of 500 employees. Interested vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. The solicitation, amendments and plans associated with this RFQ will be available at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. It will be the offeror's responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments.
