Description
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled ISS CARGO MISSION CONTRACT whichwas posted on April 16, 2009. You are notified that the following changes are made: NASA/JSC is hereby notifying interested parties that NASA is planning to hold the CMCFuture Requirements Day on Thursday, August 20, 2009, from 9:00 11:00 a.m., CentralDaylight Savings Time (CDST), at the NASA/Johnson Space Center Gilruth Recreation Centerin the Alamo Ballroom. One-on-One communications will follow at the Gilruth Center. Seebelow for information on how to sign up for One-on-One sessions. A. The goals of the CMC Future Requirements Day are: i. To promote competition on the proposed CMC acquisition; ii. To develop industry understanding of the Governments current vision, objectives, andtechnical requirements pertaining to pre-solicitation synopsis NNJ09ZBG003R for ISS CMC; iii. To provide industry with the opportunity to meet with the Government early enough inthe procurement process to provide input into the CMC procurement strategy andrequirements; iv. To encourage offerors to submit questions and comments in writing via the CMC websiteor in person during Future Requirements Day. The Government will respond in writing toall questions submitted by posting them to the NAIS and the CMC procurement website. B. Registration Requirements for Future Requirements Day: Interested parties are requested to RSVP for Future Requirements Day and, if desired,One-on-One Communications with Industry by close of business on Monday, August 17, 2009by e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Eric Schell, at eric.j.schell@nasa.gov. The RSVP should include the following information: i. Subject line: "ISS CMC Future Requirements Day RSVP" ii. Point-of-contact's name, telephone number, and company iii. Names of all the attendees from interested company C. One-on-One Communications with Industry: Guidance for conduct of the One-on-One communications will be provided on the ISS CMCwebsite @ http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/isscmc. The CMC Procurement Development Team (PDT) has scheduled the Rio Grande Room in theGilruth Center for August 20, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and August 21, 2009 from8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Meetings are limited to thirty minutes. Interested parties are limited to five attendees per offeror. The request for aOne-on-One meeting should include the same information as (B) Registration Requirementsfor Future Requirements Day, except the subject line should read; ISS CMC One-on-OneRequest. Interested parties wishing to RSVP for both Future Requirements Day and One-on-OneCommunications may reference both in the subject line of the e-mail which indicates theofferors interest. Interested parties are limited to one (1) One-on-One Communicationsmeeting per offeror. Meetings will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Directions to the Gilruth Center: Heading South on I-45, turn Left on Bay Area Boulevard (East). Proceed approximately 3miles on Bay Area Boulevard, and then turn Right on Space Center Boulevard. Proceedapproximately 2 miles on Space Center Boulevard through two stop lights. Turn Right tothe Johnson Space Center Gilruth Center. Proceed to the Gilruth Building parking lot.Enter through the Gilruth Center's front entry, and the Alamo Ballroom will be on yourleft. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/JSC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy ofthe solicitation and amendments (if any).
