THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER MACC CONTRACT N62473-08-D-8641, INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC) HUBZONE AND SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION OF GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE NAVFAC SOUTHWEST AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, ARIZONA, AND NEW MEXICO The MACC Contractors listed on this MACC Group 0050 are as follows: Dimensions Construction, Inc., San Diego, CA; Halbert Construction Company, Inc., El Cajon, CA; Souza Construction, Inc., Farmersville, CA; Hal Hays Construction, Inc., Riverside, CA; I.E.-Pacific, Inc., San Diego, CA; K.O.O. The solicitation will not be made available on this website. Project Description: The intent of this RFP is to obtain all services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the design and construction of AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) Project RM 985-08, REPAIR AND MODERNIZE DDG 1000 TRAINING FACILITY, BLDG 3292 at Naval Base San Diego, California complete and ready to use as required by the specifications and drawings provided in the Request For Proposal (RFP). This project will renovate approximately 855 SM (9,200 SF) of space in Building 3292 second deck in to the DDG 1000 Shore Support Trainer (SST) Facility (referred to generally in this document as the "training facility"). The training facility shall consist of two (2) distinct areas that will simulate actual ship-board spaces in regard to: size, contour or shape of walls, texture and color of construction materials, paint and ambient lighting conditions. The work will include hazardous material survey and abatement, selective demolition, interior construction, raised floors and finishes. Repair heating, ventilation, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, information technology, communication and furnishing systems, Provide air-conditioning and all other incidental works to meet the facility requirements of the DDG 1000 SST. This project will also renovate approximately 882 SM ( 9,500 SF) of vacant space in Building 57 second deck to house Pre-Commissioning ( PRECOM) Command, the current occupants of the second floor of Building 3292. The work will include hazardous material survey and abatement, selective demolition, interior construction and finishes. Selective repair / upgrade of heating, ventilation, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, information technology, and communication systems, provide air-conditioning to two (2) Learning Resource Center and computer server room.
