- MODIFICATION AWARD FOR THIS ACTION USING RECOVERY FUNDS IS MADE TO INSTALL STEAM AND WATER LINE METERS ON UTILIDOR SYSTEM, KODIAK STREET, EIELSON AFB, AK. RECOVERY ACTION JUSTIFICATION: American Mechnical Inc., is currently working in the utilidor located on Kodiak Street, they are replacing the piping, valves and appurtenances where the new meters are to be installed. It is not feasible or cost effective for the government to competitively re-solicit and award a separate contract to another firm, such action would result in a duplication of administrative, mobilization and demobilizaton costs to the government.
