- NAICS Code 922160 - Fire Protection. Contractor is to furnish all labor, supervision, apparatus, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to respond to fire suppression and emergency response services in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) at the Denver Federal Center. Contractor is required to respond to all emergency calls and fire alarms; provide 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week and 365 days per year coverage. The Denver Federal Center is a campus encompassing 46 enclosed buildings totaling 4.2 million square feet complex on a 58 acre federal reservation. Building occupancies include office occupancies, laboratory, vehicle storage, maintenance shops, hazardous storage warehouse, engineering shops, a supply depot, a motor vehicle maintenance facility, and administrative offices. Hazardous materials in limited quantities are used and stored at multiple locations throughout the facility. A station plot plan showing the location, type and quantity of hazardous materials, as well as the occupancy of each building, will be provided to the successful offeror at the time of contract award. The contract will be firm fixed price. A site visit is scheduled on or about August 25, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. mountain standard time at the Denver Federal Center, Building 41, Lakewood, Colorado. A Pre-proposal Conference will be on or about August 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. mountain standard time at the Denver Federal Center, Building 41, Lakewood, Colorado. Potential offerors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit and the Pre-proposal conference to familiarize themselves with the general and specific conditions of the buildings and the contract terms and conditions. The contract performance period will be one (1) base year, with nine (9) one-year option periods. The estimated start date of the contract is on or about February 1, 2010. The proposal due date will be noted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about August 18, 2009. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the EPS site at http://www.fbo.gov/ for the release of any amendments. All prospective offerors are also required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via http://www.orca.bpn.gov/. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. The successful offeror will be required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov/ in accordance with FAR 52.204-7.
