- C.1 PROJECT SCOPE a.Description: This project involves the following work: Tawah Creek Bridge Rail Replacement: i.Remove and dispose of all entities of existing bridge and approach rail system. ii.Remove and dispose of all entities of existing running planks. iii.Remove and dispose of all entities of existing object markers iv.Supply and install all components necessary to construct proposed bridge rail system in accordance with all relevant specification standards listed in section C.2 of this document. Bridge rail system to include, but not limited to: steel bridge rail, steel rail posts, and all connection materials. See design documents for all specific construction details. v.Supply and install all components necessary to construct proposed approach rail system in accordance with all relevant specification standards listed in section C.2 of this document. Approach rail system to include, but not limited to: steel approach rail, timber rail posts, and all connection and standard safety materials. See design documents for all specific construction details. vi.Install proposed running planks with specified timber material per design documents. vii.Perform all work necessary for the stabilization of the soil bearing backwall on the right end bridge abutment. Soil retaining integrity of backwall structure to be restored. Work to include: Removal of existing soil material on roadway side of backwall, removal of existing backwall, addition of support soil material including various sized fill rock and rip rap, reinstallation of backwall, installation of soil retaining silt fence along face of backwall and fill rock at base of backwall, replacement of backfill material. All work detailed in design documents to be preformed in accordance with all relevant specifications listed in section C.2 of this document. viii.Install four (4) object markers and posts at bridge ends. Install one-lane bridge hazard signage. All signage to be installed per design documents and relevant specification standards listed in section C.2 of this document. b.Price Range: $25,000-$100,000
