- The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, has identified a requirement to solicit the purchase and delivery of 33,660 rolls of toilet paper. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items has been prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q8147090104 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35, dated July 14, 2009. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 424130 and the small business size is less than 100 employees. THE FOLLOWING ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Supply Description: Supply and Delivery of Toilet Paper Product: 2-ply 100 % recycled content white toilet paper; 1000 sheets per roll, bath tissueDue to environmental concerns we require a minimum of internal packaging Total Quantity: Approximately 33,660 rolls of toilet paper; dependable upon packaging Delivery Date: August 14 - 28, 2009 ******* Delivery Location: Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin Headlands Bldg.
