- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for One hundred twenty-six (126) Custom Multi-Frequency Underwater Transducers. Base year consists of: first article requirement 2 transducers (waived for approved vendors); production of 22 units; and quantity option for 6 units. Four option periods consists of: two option quantities at 12 units each. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) N00253-09-T-0191 is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Federal Circulars 2005-1 are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511 and has a size standard of 750. The government requires FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing after receipt of solicitation, no later then August 13, 2008.
