- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue an Request for Quotation (RFQ # #Q5120095491) for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision necessary to prepare, patch and repaint approximately 45,000 square feet of interior wall space and replace approximately 5,000 square feet of ceiling tiles. Work to be completed at multiple locations throughout Big Cypress National Preserve, Ochopee, Florida, 34141. The anticipated period of performance for the resulting contract is 45 calendar days from the notice to proceed. All work will be performed under a single contract. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided with the RFQ documents posted on this site. This RFQ will be issued electronically, on the Department of Interiors National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov or at www.fbo.gov on or about August 19, 2009, with a response date of September 04, 2009. No paper copies will be issued. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI should register at the National Business Center. Proposal documents will be made available in the Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing http://ideasec.nbc.gov site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the National Park Service must be registered at www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. This is a total small business set-aside with an applicable NAICS code of 238320 with a size standard of $14M. The anticipated range of this project is expected to be between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the RFQ. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
