- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to procure on a Full and Open Competition basis, an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity type contract for the maintenance and repair of the On Board Vehicle Surveillance System (OBVSS) on DoDDS-P school buses in Korea, Japan and Okinawa. A Performance Work Statement will be included in Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-09-R-1002. The initial period of performance is from 01 Oct 2009 through 30 Sep 2010 with two one-year option periods. The RFP will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 10 August to close 30 days after issue date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency by the RFP closing date. Proposals shall be submitted as specified in the RFP. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is : http://www.ccr.gov. Inquiries may be submitted in writing via e-mail to dppd@pac.dodea.edu. This is strictly a Synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. No proposals will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice.
