- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6740009T0274 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-34 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The NAICS code is 333513. The Government intends on issuing a purchase order to the offeror that represents the best value to the government. The following factors will be considered when determining the best value: price, delivery terms, and technical capability. The requirement for items and services are included in the attachment. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. Delivery point is to Bldg 362, Central Supply, FE, Camp S.D. Butler, Kitamae, Chatan Cho, Nakagami Gun, Okinawa, Japan 904-0100 All services/material awarded under this contract are expected to be delivered 1 November 2009.
