Description
RECOVERY "THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE'S DESIGN-BUILD MATOC CONTRACT." Request For Proposal (RFP) 40181RR005, FFS Project Number: R4AF, Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) Number: TAS::142911::TAS The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service contemplates entering into negotiations with one of our Design-Build MATOC contractors and to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order for the design and construction of a Visitor Center/Administration/Environmental Education Facility for the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Paris, Tennessee. NAICS CODE 236220, Size Standard: $31 Million. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. POC for this requirement is Donna J. Snead, Spectra Tech Inc., Contract Specialist, at (404) 679-7066. Design and build a Visitor Center/Administration/Environmental Education Facility at the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Paris, Tennessee. The building will be approximately 12,479 SF and contain spaces based on USDOI/USFWS "Suite of Facilities - Medium Administration module, Large Visitor Facility module and the Environmental Education Module". The facility shall achieve a LEED certification at the highest level practicable. The project will incorporate "new renewable" energy sources to the highest degree practicable. A Design/Build Management Plan for this project, which includes a schedule of design review meetings and design submittals, will be submitted to the Contracting Officer for approval within 10 days of Notice of Award. Anticipated date of award will be on or after November 16, 2009.
