- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a new requirement for the removal and replacement of the existing windows and frames in the Van Deman Hall USAR Training Center, 2400 Admiral Baker Road, San Diego, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment required to remove and replace the existing windows and frames in the Van Deman Hall USAR Training Center. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0046 will be available on or about 07 August 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Monday, 10 August 2009 at 9:30 AM. Site Visit location is: Van Deman Hall USARC, 2400 Admiral Baker Road, San Diego, CA. 92120-2379. The primary Site Visit POC is Steve Berger (714) 262-5989. Alternate Site Visit POC: Wayne Alves, (562) 795-1444. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Friday, 28 August 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for HUBZONE firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238350 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0046 will be available on or about 07 August 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
