- SERVICES Food Service Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number: W90AF2-09-Q-0502 Location: L'viv, Ukraine - Yavoriv Training Area (Starychi) Period of Performance: 08SEP09 thru 20SEP09 Food Services- The Contractor/Caterer shall provide all food preparation and delivery in the International Peacekeeping & Security Center (IPSC) Guardian City dining facility as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall perform these services for the period of performance specified in the SOW. The U.S. Government gives no guarantee for future services and reserves the right to terminate this contract for default. The Contractor/caterer shall provide food service support for the Ukrainian participants of Ukrainian FTX 09-01. The IPSC is located within the Yavoriv Training Area, Starychi, Ukraine. Contractor/Caterer must be prepared to serve meals for the FTX starting with breakfast on 8 September 2009 with the last meal being Dinner on 20 September 2009. The contractor will follow the guidelines for the meal schedule as outlined in the SOW (see Table 1). The daily headcount is provided in Table 2 of the SOW. The headcount is an estimated amount and may fluctuate. The only individual who reserves the right to change the contract specifics is the Contracting Officer. The contract encompasses feeding only Ukraine Soldiers. The numbers of meals are only estimates and are subject to change. Refer to Combined Synopsis Solicitation Attached for specifics. SOW is also able to be viewed on this document. Vendor shall provide: a) proof that the offeror is already vetted with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (MOD), or b) a letter from the Ukrainian MOD stating that the vetting process is underway and the offeror will be vetted no later than 18 AUG 09 at 0800 Lviv, Ukraine time. Without providing proof or furnishing a letter of approval to operate at Yavoriv training Center, the vendor will be excluded from the competition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the contracting agency. Contractor shall 1) print out the attachment. 2) Print your price quotes next to the corresponding CLIN numbers showing Complete. Then send back only the first three (3) quote pages to SFC Igor Paustovski listed below. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type Contract under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The basis on which the award will be made is price alone, as per FAR Subpart 13.106(a) 2.
