THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ-09-R-0178. ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Angela Branch. The US Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to establish a five (5) year requirement type contract for technical, engineering and logistics services for Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) to support overhaul, repair and recapitalization of the AH-64/CH-47 weapon systems. The contractor will provide AMCOM depot maintenance engineering with technical and engineering assistance. The contractor will be responsible for the development of overhaul and workstation material kits to streamline CCAD airframes and components production to ensure availability of all airframes and component spare parts required to assure an increase in material fill rate. The contractor will develop work scope and process improvement recommendations in support of the overhaul and repair functions to increase the material fill rate to 90 percent. The contractor shall assist and advise CCAD in establishing commercial best practices in the areas of production planning, production control, materials management and process engineering. The contractor will provide logistical support functions in inventory management of spare parts associated with the AH-64/CH-47 components by procuring 100 percent of the parts and material required by CCAD in the overhaul. The contractor will provide full pre-induction evaluation of structurally-damaged aircraft as an integral part of the CCAD field evaluation team. The Contractor supporting elements will include engineering analysis specific to the individual aircraft configuration and logistical support to determine a comprehensive repair bill of materials. Complete and adequate data is not available to support full and open competition. This effort is sole source to The Boeing Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are encouraged to contact The Boeing Company for subcontracting opportunities on this effort. The period of performance for this effort is from date of award through one year plus four program years. See numbered note(s) 22.
