- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal to inspect and service all portable fire extinguishers in accordance with all current NFPA 10 standards. The extinguishers are located at the Providence VAMedical Center, VA administrative offices Eagle Square Providence, Middletown, RI CBOC, Hyannis, MA CBOC, and New Bedford, MA CBOC. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 561210 and the size standard is $35.5 (millions of dollars). Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include price and past performance/similar experience. The solicitation package will be available on or about July 15, 2009. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for August 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
