- 3 Aug 09 - the purpose of this modification is to post questions and answers. 1. Do you need installation for these machines? NO 2. Do you need the parts for these machines: washer hoses, dryer cords, ducting, etc? Yes, we would need washer hoses, dryer cords. 3. Do you need service for these machines? Are you interested in a repair and preventative maintenance service contract for all of the bases' appliances? NO 4. Item 0001: Whirlpool or Equivalent, Energy Star Qualified, Dryer, 22" electric dryer, 120V, 3 Cycles, 2 temperatures, side swing door, color white Qty: 15 each. Questions: Whirlpool does not offer an Energy Star Qualified dryer in this size class. Would you consider a Whirlpool dryer without Energy Qualified status? In addition, is the 22" size listed for Depth or Width? All Whirlpool compact dryers are at least 23-7/8" wide. Please advise. ANSWER: Yes a non-energy star qualified washer will be considered. Here are the dimension for the dryer: Depth: 21 15/16 Inches Height: 31 Inches Width: 23 7/8 Inches 5. Item 0002: Whirlpool of Equivalent, Energy Star Qualified Washer, 22" compact washer 120V, 4 cycles, 3 comb, 3 temp, 2 water levels, electronic, stainless basket, color white Qty: 15 each. Questions: Whirlpool does not offer an Energy Star Qualified washer in this size class. Would you consider a Whirlpool washer without Energy Qualified status? Is the 22" listed for Depth or Width? ANSWER: Yes a non-energy star qualified washer will be considered. The depth/height/width is approximately 24 5/8, 31 1/4, 22 5/16. 6. Item 0003: Compact dryer stands for Whirlpool or equivalent, washer and dryer, color white Qty: 25 Each. Questions: Is the quantity correct as stated? You are interested in 25; not 15 or 30? In addition, are you interested in pedestal units for the washer, dryer, or both? Or conversely, are these to be washer/dryer stacked units? ANSWER: Yes, 25 is the correct number. We are interested in a stack stand for use with the washer and dryer, item number 49971 or equivalent.
