- Soliciation for offeror to complete The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Oakdale Louisiana, intends to issue solicitation for the requirements of: EXCAVATOR. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date expected will be September 9, 2009. (Failure to deliver item within this time frame will exclude you from future consideration with solicitations). Delivery will be made to Federal Correctional Complex, Oakdale, Louisiana, East Whatley Rd, Oakdale, LA 71463. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single award. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 3, 2009, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 10, 2009. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included. Completed offers may be faxed to the attention of Lane West, at (318)215-2607, mailed to the address above or e-mailed to swest@bop.gov. The anticipated award date is August 13, 2009. FCC Oakdale requires the following item, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: PC78US-6 Komatsu Excavator or similar model. Similar models should be euipped as follows: Cab with Heat & A/C, Rubber Tracks, Dozer Blade, Auxilliary Hydrolics, Minimum 6'11" Arm, 30" bucket with side cutters, Additional Counterweight, Front Work Light, and 54 HP minimum. *Include Delivery Costs and any additional fees in price*,1,EA. NEW EQUIPMENT ONLY; NO re-manufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of buy. Shipping must be freight on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Tegistration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR Website at http://www.ccr.gov. Delivery must be made within 30 days or less after receipt of order (ARO). The offeror must provide within its offer the number of days - not to exceed 30 - required to make delivery after it receives a purchase order from the buyer. No partial shipments are permitted unless specifically authorized at the time of award.
