- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for preventative maintenance for the followingequipment manufactured by Suss Microtec:One (1) flip chip bonder model FC150One (1) mask aligner model MA/BA6One (1) mask aligner model MA4One (1) wafer bonder model SB6One (1) alignment checker model DSM8The following minimum specifications are required:1.Each one of the above process tools shall be maintained on a bi-annual basis, andthe contractor shall provide all instruments and tools needed for the calibration andrepairs.2.The number of hours needed to service each process tool must be specificed.3.In addition to the preventative maintenance the contractor shall include twoemergency calls for the FC150. One emergency call for the other process tools shall beadded to the contract and shall cover the period of performance.4.The response time for the emergency calls shall not exceed 72 hours from the timeof the call.5.All pertinent costs, such as travel time, travel expenses, car rental and lodgingshall be included in the quote.6.The period of performance shall be one year from the date of the award ofcontract.7.The offeror shall provide the Government with references and contacts to certifyits technical know how and ability to service these types of equipment.8.The offeror shall provide the Government with references and contacts to certifyits technical know how and ability to service these types of equipment.The specifications and drawings are linked above or may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. ]This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than August 10, 2009 4:00pm eastern time to Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov. It isthe quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
