- THIS IS ONLY THE ADVANCED NOTICE. THE SOLICITATION INCLUDING ALL SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED AFTER AUGUST 18, 2009 (Subject to Change), FOR THE REQUIRED SOLID WASTE SERVICES GENERALLY DESCRIBED BELOW. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. This is not a request for proposals and does not commit the government to award a contract, therefore, no solicitation is available at this time. This notice is required under FAR 5.201. NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRED NOR WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NAICS CODE: 562111Size Standard: $12.5 Million This contract will be issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Description: The National Park Service, Denali National Park & Preserve, requires solid waste collection services at a variety of locations within the national park boundary. Seasonal variation in services to include weekly service year round and biweekly service from June 1 through September 30. Proposal will be solicited, at a later date, as a base plus four (4) option years contract. Solicitation shall include services for a quantity of two (2), two (2) yard dumpsters, quantity of one (1), six (6) yard dumpster, two loads per week between June 1 and September 30, one time load during last week of May, extra loads as needed between June 1 and September 30, disposal of quantity one (1), thirty (30) yard dumpster, one (1) load per month from October 1 through September 30, disposal cost per load, one time delivery fee for dumpster delivery, and annual landfill regulatory commission fee. The subsequent contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended. Wage Determination 05-2017 (Rev.-11) shall be applied. Period of Performance: One Base Year and Four (4) Option Years ALL VENDORS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AN AWARD BEING MADE.
