- Sources Sought, advertised on 31 July 2009, for Preventative Maintenance Inspection and Repair to kitchen equipment (see below for examples) through out the Kaiserslautern Military Community in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. The inspections are required bi-annually and annually depending on type of equipment and type of inspection. - Foster Deep Freezer - Scotsman Ice-maker - MKN Deep Fryer - Hobart Dishwasher - Vulkan Hart Oven - L'unite Compressor - Thielman Deep Fryer - Cleveland Double Stack Oven The period of performance will be for a base year and four option years. Concerns having the ability to furnish the services and supplies described herein are requested to give written notification, including the name and telephone number of a point of contact, to the procurement office above. The contractor's service technician must be trained and certified expert to perform maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment. The contractor's service technician certification must include dishwasher, air conditioning, refrigerated equipment and oven repairs. Firms who feel they can furnish the required services and supplies or its functional equivalent (based on the criteria specified herein) are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement. An affirmative response would include literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required services and supplies stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. No solicitation document exists. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
