- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Headquarters (HQ) plans to issue a purchase order for membership to the Corporate Executive Board for the following membershiips:CIO Executive Board Membership and Infrastructure Executive Council Membership. Membership to the Corporate Executive Board offers any of the employees within the Information Technology Board (ITB) of the FBI to have unlimited access to proprietary strategic research designated by the member Information Technology executives. This translates to access for literally hundreds of FBI ITB employees. The Corporate Executive Board offers memberships to both public and private sector entities. Based on those memberships, the Corporate Executive Board provides best practices, research, data and executive education to the world's leading public and private organizations. The FBI intends to issue a purchase order to the Corporate Executive Board for memberships to both the CIO Executive Board Membership and the Infrastructure Executive Council Membership. The authority is only one responsible source 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (Reference FAR 6.302-1). The Government will acquire these memberships as a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing or e-mail to the identified point of contact no later than 5 p.m. local time on August 7, 2009. Such qualifications shall be evaluated solely fo rthe purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. This determination will be made by the Government based upon its review of any received responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the government.
