- This is a Notice that the Agricultural Research Service (ARS)intends to purchase, on a Sole Source basis from Illumina, Inc., located at 9885 Towne Centre Drive, San Diego CA 92121-1975, The reagents to be purchased are (1) Single-Read Cluster Generation Kits-V2-GALL. (2) Cycle Sequencing Kit V3.0. (3) DNA Sample kit. (4) Amplification Mainfold. Illumina is the manufacturer of the ARS Beltsville Area Research Center Genome Analyzer, which is currently under warranty. In order to maintain this warranty, the manufacturer requires the use of Illumina reagents, therefore ARS requires Illumina reagents. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by ARS. The determination to sole sorce this requirement is solely at the descretion of the Contracting Officer.
