- The original synopsis issued on 7/28/2009 is hereby modified. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) High Precision Milling Machine, KTM-3VKF, 3 axis with Anilam 5000 CNC control with Dove-tail ways on saddle and Column 10"x50" table with 14"x32" travel (Maximum RPM 6,000 spindle head). Standard accessories included with 3 HP spindle motor, AC frequency drive head, Real time spindle load meter, Front and Rear way covers, automatic lubrication system, maxi-torque air power draw bar installed, #30 taper spindle, and #30 collet set of 10 pieces (Quantity - 1 each). 2) High Precision Milling Machine, TW-32Qi CNC Bed Mill with Anilam 5000 CNC control (6,000 RPM range) with programmable spindle RPM, spindle override knob on control, auto-lubrication unit, flood coolant system, Ethernet connection with SUB port, air power draw bar and work-light, manual pulse generator, and Cat 40 end mill adapters (3/16" - 3/4" 5pcs). (Quantity - 1 each). This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to Kent Industrial Inc., 1231 Edinger Ave., Tustin, CA 92780 due to the capability with the existing system with an Anilam 5000 controller and existing software. Any firms believing that they can provide this material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
