Part 2 of the Boise O&M Questions and Answers Part 1 of the Boise O&M Questions and Answers July 31, 2009 - Boise O&M Questions And Answers attachments #1 and #2 uploaded to the Solicitation. ************************************************************** Solicitation Uploaded July 6th, 2009. ************************************************************* Solicitation GS-10P-09-LS-D-0034 will be 100% Set Aside for Small Business Enterprises and will not be reserved for HUBZone businesses. Solicitation issue date is expected to be July 6, 2009. *********************************************************** General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to establish a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for Operations and Mechanical Maintenance Services at US Federal Building/Courthouse Boise Idaho; the approximate area is 273,979 sq ft. The period of performance is for a two (2) month transition period and a thirty four (34) months base contract period with two potential 1, 2 or 3 year option periods and a final option for a maximum of 10 years. Anticipated start date is December 1, 2009. This acquisition will be issued IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19.13, this acquisition is being considered for a HubZone set aside. If your firm is Hub Zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than June 29, 2009 : 1) SBA certification Hub Zone eligibility; 2) Statement to substantiate capability to perform operations and mechanical maintenance services; and 3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HubZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HubZone set-aside, the acquisition will be conducted under 100% small business set-aside. Offers will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures with the evaluation factors set forth in the solicitation. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 561210 with a small business size of $ 35.5M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. Successful offeror will be required to be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Offerors not already registered in CCR database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Solicitation will be available on or about July 6 2009. Offers will be due on or about August 6, 2009. In accordance with FAR 5.102Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
