- This notice is issued by NASA Ames Research Center to post a Request forInformation (RFI) via the internet, and solicit responses from interested parties. Thisdocument is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunityto verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promotecompetition. A RFI summary document and a draft Statement of Work are attached to this notice, and arealso viewable at the NASA Ames Research Center Procurement website:http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/Proc/ Questions about the content of this RFI should be emailed by 5:00PM Pacific time, Monday,August 10, 2009 to: Marianne.Shelley@nasa.gov.Please send questions with "RFI-ASRS-L"in the subject heading. A "Q&A" document will be posted as an amendment to this noticefor all questions received. Company or individual names will not be posted. Comments/ Responses to this RFI are due by 5:00 PM Pacific time, Monday, August 17, 2009.The preferred method of response is by email to the contracting officer -Marianne.Shelley@nasa.gov. Please send responses with "RFI-ASRS-L" in the subjectheading. Documents must be in MS Office or Adobe (pdf) file format. Hard copies are notrequired or requested. Please contact the contracting officer if another method ofsubmittal is requested. This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government,nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents willnot be notified of the results. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
