- This is an annoucement that there has been a third amendment posted to NAVAIR's "Doing Business With US" website to the C-40A CLS RFP on July 31st. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure, via full and open competition procedures, follow-on contractor logistic support for the C-40A aircraft. The Navy intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) FAR Part 12 Task Order Contract to the company evaluated as providing the "Best Value" to the Government, all factors in accordance with Section L and M of the RFP taken into consideration. In accordance with Block 8 of the RFP DD Form 1449, proposal submission dead-line is no later than 1300 EST on 18 August 2008.
