- Description
- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, SC intends to award a sole source contract to L-3 Communications West (L-3 CS-W), 640 N 2200 W, PO Box 16850, Salt Lake City, UT 84116- 0850, for the evaluation, repair, and refurbishment of failed Lowest Repair Units (LRUs) for the Tactical Interoperable Ground Data Link II (TIGDL-II). This procurement will also support the new build of LRUs that are determined to be beyond economical repair. L-3 CS-W is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and owns the proprietary design rights for the TIGDL-II, and is thus the only responsible source to conduct evaluation, repair, and refurbishment services. A firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is anticipated. The period of performance is expected to be one base year and two option years. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, and the size standard is $7,000,000.00. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
