- Intent to Award Sole Source The MCI East Contracting Deparment intends to award the following item as Sole Source; Task Chair- Model Number 80165. Qty of 240 for a total of $26,160.00 to University Loft Company. The Government is not competing these items on the open market as they are a small, but integral part of a furniture package for the BEQ Located at Marine Corps Air Station Beaurfort, SC. To split this award to multiple vendors for the open market items would have a negative impact on the integrity of appearance and compatibility to the agencies existing packaged items.
