- Travis AFB intends to procure the service for security guard services. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all necessary items to provide security services at David Grant Medical Center located on Travis AFB. Period of performance is 01 October 2009 - 30 September 2010 with four option years. The performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the request for proposal (RFP). This requisition is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 561612 and the related size standard is $18.5 million. Award shall be made based upon the best value to the government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The solicitation will be made available on or around 10 August 2009. This date is an estimate and subject to change without notice. The solicitation package will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Facsimile, telephone, written and/or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring the fedbizopps website for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. Prospective offerors who download the solicitation are requested to submit their company name, address, phone number, fax number, email, points of contact, DUNS number and business classification (i.e. - large, small, disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, women owned, veteran, service disabled, etc) to Bryan Armstrong, Contract Specialist, at bryan.armstrong-02@travis.af.mil All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Prospective offerors must have or obtain a DUNS number, be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at htt://www.ccr.gov, must complete FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items at http://orca.bpn.gov, and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil to ensure electronic funds transfer.
