- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic Charlestonintends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP)Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract, for theprocurement of an estimated quantity of 52 each 20-Foot, 24 ton or 30 tonISO, Cargo-Worthy Shipping Containers. Items must have current ContainerSafety Convention (CSC) inspection plates with at least 24 months remainingbefore expiration. Color may not be green, brown, or camouflage. Thisprocurement will be conducted under full and open competition, after exclusionof large business sources. The procurement shall be 100% set-aside for smallbusinesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Code is 332439, and the size standard is 500 employees. Theestimated release date for the formal RFP is 10 August 2009. It is theofferor'sresponsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation andamendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloadingtheir own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution ofthese documents will be provided.
