- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to resurface the oval running track, runway to long jump and the high jump area in accordance with the specification for Wingate High School, located in Fort Wingate, New Mexico. Project include the following: removal of existing synthetic rubber surface; clean and fill crack; resurfacing with hot asphalt mix; surfacing with synthetic polyurethane base; and striping the running lanes. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is planning a firm, fixed-price construction contract. The solicitation is unrestricted and is solicited on an open market basis. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bidders are strongly urged to conduct an onsite visit. All interested firms will be able to obtain a copy of the solicitation through Fedbizopps. If any firm is unable to obtain a copy from Fedbizopps, then a written request, will be accepted, for a solicitation package to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, Attention Mary Jim, 301 West Hill Street, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 or fax your request to the Attention of Mary Jim at (505) 863-8382. All technical inquiries shall be submitted in writing ten (10) calendar days before the bid opening date of August 27, 2009, fax to (505) 863-8382. A Bid Bond of 20 percent of the bid price is requiredwith your bid package. Upon award 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Liability Insurance are required. The bid opening for Invitation For Bid (IFB) No. RMN00090173 is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), August 27, 2009, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor, Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Faxed IFBs will not be accepted. Submit bid packages to the following address: BIA, Navajo Region, Division of Acquisition, Attention: Mary J. Jim, P.O. Box 1060, 301 W. Hill Ave., Rm. 346, Gallup, NM, 87301.
