RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912ES09B0017. Pre-Solicitation Notice Electrical Service Upgrades, Cross Lake Recreation Area, Cross Lake Dam, MN This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued under the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act The Government intends to issue a Soliciation W912ES-09-B-0017 as an Invitation for Bids to provide electrical system upgrades at the campsites located at the Cross Lake Recreation Area, Cross Lake, MN. The project will consist of the installation of new 50-ampere pedestals to campground sites 22, 24, 26, 50 and 66. Provide new feed conductors to campground sites 22, 24, 26, 50 and 66 pedestals. Replace current 30 amp pedestals with 50 amp pedestals at campground sites 67-120. Replace existing feed and service conductors to campground sites 5165, 67-120 pedestals. Upgrade the electrical services as required for the installation of new 50 amp campground pedestals. Balance panelboard circuits for all electrical campground sites. All electrical work shall conform to the (2008) National Electric Code (NEC) and the (2007) National Electric Safety Code (NESC). The NAICS Codes associated with this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14 Million. The estimated magnitude for this procurement in terms of price is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.000. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration Database (www.ccr.gov) prior to an award being issued. This procurement is a total set-aside for SBA certified HUBZone businesses in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.1305. Offerors must posses a current and valid Electrical Contractors License from the state of Minnesota. This Solicitation will be posted to the www.fbo.gov website on or about 16 August 2009.
