- This is a simplified acquisition procedure/commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and under the test program for commercial item iaw FAR 13.5. FISC Norfolk Contracts Department, Philadelphia Division intends to (1) 1,300 ea Horizontal Fiber Patch Panel (12-Pack) that fits standard Siecor patch panels, (2) 400,000 feet of Horizontal "Hybrid" Lan Cablee (12F, 10MM 62.5/125 micron, 2SM 9.0/125 micron Dist. Hybrid custom made horizontal cable with no stiffner) and (3) 2,000ea Fiber Pig Tails, 900UM SM 1MTR Aqua Jacket through full and open competition in support of The Office of Navy intelligence, Washington, DC, NC. The items shall comply with existing Cable Plant Infrastructure at ONI, Washington, DC. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated with an expected delivery date of 07 September 2009.
