- Engineering, Management and Development (EMD) for the CNS/ATM (Block 45) Avionics cockpit upgrade to include prototype/test, kit-proof/test, and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) TYPE OF SOLICITATION: Sole source to Rockwell Collins, Inc, Cage Code: 13499 AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only one reliable source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Period of Performance: 54 Months Application: KC-135R/T The drawings and data will be developed during EMD therefore no drawings or data are available to the public. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source - Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA. Interested parties may identify their interest for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of seeking additional sources as well as for subcontracting opportunities.
