- PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOW BEING SOLICITED THROUGH FBO UNDER FA4890-09-T-0019S. ANY QUOTES SUBMITTED MUST USE THE NEW SOLICITATION NUMBER TO ENSURE ALL CHANGES TO THE REQUIREMENT WERE RECEIVED. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC), intends to issue a brand name combined synopsis/solicitation for eight (8) Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) VTC Systems manufactured by TANDBERG. This includes four (4) each of the following: a. TANDBERG 1700MXP (115300); b. TANDBERG 1700MXP Natural Presenter Package (NPP) (115358NPP) c. TANDBERG Software Multi-suite Option (115358MS) d. TANDBERG 1700MXP Customer Core Service 1Yr contract e. TANDBERG 6000 MXP Profile Single 50" Plasma w/Precision HD Camera (118935 which replaced 115880) f. TANDBERG 6000 MXP Natural Presenter Package (NPP) (119177NPP which replaced 113820NPP) g. TANDBERG 6000 MXP Multi-Site (MS)Software Multi-suite Option (119177MS which replaced 113820MS) h. TANDBERG 6000 MXP 2 Mbps ISDN/Ext.Net w./6Mbps IP (1191783 which replaced 1138303) i. Wheel Base option for TANDBERG 6000 MXP Profile Single 50" (117333 which replaced 115075) j. TANDBERG 6000 MXP Profile - Single 50" with TANDBERG Precision HD Camera Domestic Core Service (119177V31D which replaced 115880V31D) k. TANDBERG 6000 MXP On-Site Installation & Training A combined synopsis/solicitation along with a redacted copy of the final approved brand name justification will be posted via www.fbo.gov on or around 15 Jun 09. A draft copy of the justification is attached for industry comments. Any firm that believes they can satisfy the requirement of a JWICS VTC System with a brand other than that of TANDBERG may submit a response by the closing date of this synopsis of 10 Jun 09 for consideration by the contracting officer. Responses to this announcement must be submitted in writing to Capt Whitney Brown via email at whitney.brown@langley.af.mil by 2:00PM EST 10 Jun 09 and should indicate size status and small business type (8(a), SDVOSB, Woman-owned, etc) if applicable.
